Infrared thermography in steam trap inspection
نویسندگان
چکیده
Steam traps play a significant role in condensate evacuation from steam as well heating ventilation and cooling systems (HVAC), i.e., industrial climate chambers. Preventive maintenance periodical audit of increase reliability reduce the number facility off hours. In some elements system, can damage parts, which means that monitoring their function is one basic preventive tasks. One way checking by using infrared thermography. The paper presents simplicity trap control an thermography camera.

Efficient Inspection for Gas Pipes by Infrared Thermography
Gas pipe failure caused by inner corrosion defects is one of the risk factors for the unscheduled shutdown of a plant. The pipes must be inspected to reduce the risk, but this requires a great amount of time and money, since gas pipes are quite long. This research proposes a screening method for the efficient inspection of gas pipes caused by aqueous corrosion. This screening method consists of...
متن کاملInfrared Thermography in Pain Medicine
Since BC 400 when Hippocrates used temperature in a diagnosis by applying mud to a patient's body and speculating that dry areas had disease, temperature has been an important area of interest in medicine. The skin is a very important organ in temperature regulation, and body temperature is controlled by the combined control of the central and autonomic nerve system. Infrared thermography (IRT)...
متن کاملInfrared Thermography in Sports Activity
The origin of infrared thermography comes in 1800 when William Herschel discovered thermal radiation, the invisible light later called infrared, but only in the mid-sixties infrared thermography became a technique of temperature cartography. He proved that this radiation, called infrared, followed the same law as visible light. Later, this phenomenon was connected with the laws of Planck and St...

0. Abstract In this paper we propose a simple enhancing protocol for pulsed infrared thermography. The method is based on stimulating the specimen with two heating pulses separated by a short time interval delta. This approach was tested on several specimens of low and high thermal diffusivity and showed to provide higher thermal contrasts when an optimum interval delta is chosen. The observed ...
